Makgadikgadi National Park day excursion incl. light lunch and soft drinks

The Makgadikgadi Pan Game Reserve is a salt pan with an area of ca. 3 900 km². It is one of the largest salt flats in the world. The pan is all that remains of the formerly enormous Lake Makgadikgadi. During the dry winter month you will be able to see the second largest zebra migration in the world. More than 25.000 zebras migrate to the Boteti River. Wildlife in the park includes eland, lions, zebras, cheetah, oryx, springbok, red hartebeest, bushbuck, giraffe, steenbok, elephants and many more. Animals are dependent on the Boteti River for their daily sustenance. It is therefore the perfect place for game viewing. Enjoy a light lunch and some refreshments en route while watching the wildlife around you.

Nxai Pan National Park day excursion incl. light lunch and soft drinks

The size of this National Park is approx. 2 600 km² and is one of the salt lakes from the Makgadikgadi. Many herbivores like zebras, springboks, elephants, wildebeests and giraffes can cross the path in Nxai Pan. Due to the number of game, predators can be observed in this area as well. One highlight of the Park is the historical "Baines Baobabs", a group of seven trees which are famous as the "seven sisters" or the "sleeping sisters". The painter and explorer Thomas Baines created a remarkable painting in 1862 of this baobab group. You explore Nxai Pan National Park in an open 4x4 safari vehicle and enjoy a light lunch and some refreshments en route.

Guided game drive on Leopard Plains

Experience on our 8.000 ha farm the African bush in a 4x4 safari vehicle under the guidance of a skilled game ranger. Leopard Plains is home to different kinds of antelopes such as eland, impala, kudu, blue wildebeest as well as zebras and giraffes. Also predators like lions, leopards and wild dogs are regular visitors on the farm.

Canoe on the Boteti River

The Boteti River is the main outflow from the core of the Okavango Delta and is an important attraction pool for the wildlife. It forms the western boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Canoeing on Boteti River is an environment friendly and quiet option to observe wild- and birdlife. You become part of nature and enjoy the river and its environment.

Guided Bush Walk on Leopard Plains

Let us take you on a truly memorable and authentic bush walk on Leopard Plains. Walking on the farm gives you the opportunity to observe plants, trees and animals from the ground, in the safe hands of your professional guide. The small details that are overlooked on game drives become more visible while being on foot. With each bird call, track, insect, plant or tree, you gain a much deeper understanding of your environment. Be a detective and guess which creature might have made the tracks or dung in the sand.
